Cape Town Golf Society
A fully custom web application built for a Cape Town golf society. Not a template — every feature was designed around the society's specific workflows: seasonal tournaments, Stableford scoring, fourball booking, and live leaderboards.
Built on Next.js and Supabase, deployed on Vercel's free tier. The entire platform runs at zero monthly cost while supporting a full season of competitive golf.
What was built
Round Booking
Members sign up for upcoming rounds, choose cart or walking, and are automatically assigned to fourballs.
Fourball Management
Admin assigns fourballs and tee times. Members see their grouping and tee time on the round page.
Score Capture
Simple or hole-by-hole score entry. Playing handicap calculated automatically from course rating and slope.
Stableford & Net Scoring
Standings computed from Stableford points. Net scores and leaderboard updated instantly per round.
Tournament Tracking
Full season tournament with points accumulation, best net rounds, and best pair statistics.
Member Management
Admin portal for approving members, managing handicaps, and handling guest sign-ups.
